Oracle announced that its Marketing Cloud is getting cozier with enterprise cloud storage provider Box.

The companies are extending their previous partnership, in which Box is available as a vendor in the Oracle Marketing AppCloud, to include full platform integration aimed at giving marketers more control over content.

Oracle said that starting in the spring of 2015, Box's content collaboration platform, which allows marketers to make assets available to designers and other stakeholders, will seamlessly mingle with Oracle's Marketing Cloud.

The integration will allow Marketing Cloud customers to develop content with tools such as Microsoft Office products and PDFs, and then instantly convert them into HTML5. Additionally, the integration will enable folders in Box to automatically sync with Marketing Cloud's content store, making them available for campaign usage on Oracle's cross-channel marketing platform.

"Having access to the right content at the right time is critical for businesses everywhere, and no department relies more on real-time collaboration around information than marketing," said Niall Wall, SVP of business development at Box. "The connection between our two platforms will help make businesses of all sizes more productive and competitive, particularly in industries like Retail and Media & Entertainment where success hinges on the creation and distribution of digital assets."

On the enterprise management front, Oracle says it has extended the management and monitoring capabilities of Oracle Enterprise Manager to the MySQL Enterprise Edition, enabling customers to manage their applications and technology stack, including web and departmental applications that rely on MySQL, from a single console.
