Microsoft is adding a new 'ring' to its Windows Insider preview program.

That ring, known as the Windows Insider Release Preview Ring, will be available for both PCs and mobile builds of Windows 10. This ring is for Insiders who want to stay on the Current Branch but who also want to receive early access to updates, application updates and driver updates, Microsoft officials said in a February 10 blog post.

The Release Preview Ring is for those who want the ability to provide feedback to Microsoft ahead of time, but who only want to incur minimal risk to their devices, said Gabe Aul, head of the Windows Insider program.

As of today, there are now three Windows Insider rings: Fast, Slow and Release Preview.

Microsoft also rolled out today a new Windows 10 Mobile preview build for Fast Ring Insider testers.

That build, 10586.107, includes some fixes around missing tiles, improved Narrator support for multiple languages; and improvements to device reset when BitLocker Device Encryption is enabled by enterprise policy or user.

Earlier this week, Microsoft began publishing release notes for its Windows 10 updates for PCs and tablets.
